Indeed, our Primary Dealership serves as the foundation upon which many of our firm's capabilities in other markets have been built. Our leadership position in U.S. Treasury securities is complemented by our role as a leading distributor of U.S. agency debentures for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, the Federal Farm Credit Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank. What's more, RBS Greenwich Capital is home to Wall Street's top-ranked government strategist, enabling us to provide the market intelligence and trading strategies sophisticated institutions require. To serve our client's short-term investment and liquidity needs more effectively, in 2004 we enhanced the Liquid Products Group's cash management capabilities through the increased offering of RBS and Greenwich Capital Holdings commercial paper, and through increased activity in a variety of U.S. government and agency short-term instruments.Our agency debenture group continued to be a recognized leader in the market, lead-managing three benchmark transactions despite diminished volume across the GSE market generally, and adding an experienced trader to focus on opportunities in the callable sector of the market.
